It is often the beginning of great things, and we at Exiro Minerals (and its USA subsidiary Wintergreen Resources), look forward to safe, sustainable early exploration in Maine. We want to study the land and find mineral resources that are critically needed for our everyday items and to contribute to the climate change cause by helping in the shift from fossil fuels to safe, clean renewable energy and vehicles.
Who We Are
We currently have a lease on the Warren Deposit located east of Crawford Pond in the township of Warren, Maine.
Wintergreen Resources is an American company that is a wholly owned subsidiary of Exiro Minerals based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Wintergreen Resources allows us to do business in the USA but doesn’t have an office or staff other than the Exiro team in Canada. To date, the Exiro team has generated 35 exploration projects, is known for its discovery success, and has been recognized for operating at the highest industry standards, in partnership with local communities.
The Benefits
Exiro Minerals/Wintergreen Resources seeks to build a partnership with Union and Warren where, if exploration is successful and a deposit is discovered, a state of the art, sustainable and safe mineral operation can occur. This would not only create local jobs and opportunities for local businesses – it will also create an opportunity for millions of dollars a year in tax revenue payable to the two towns.
Our Exploration
Our hope and main goal is to begin early exploration activities on the land we hold leases on and on the surrounding areas. This would include surface geochemical sampling, surface geological mapping, and air and ground geophysical surveys. These early exploration activities have very low or no impact on the properties or the environment.
